+Remote is on a Linux machine.
+Do `git annex get' on a Mac OS.
+Do the same on another Linux machine.
+
+The git annex client on the Linux machine works.
+Mac OS doesn't.
+
+rsync version for all machines: 3.1.1
+
+### What version of git-annex are you using? On what operating system?
+
+git-annex 5.20151019
+
+Lubuntu 15.10.
+Mac OS X 10.11.1 (El Capitan)
