Revert "CVE-2017-7186 fix (upstream rev 670)"

This reverts commit 8a44b106f405e278f4fbbcd1e8b2744cd9afbc57.

Do this as we're now incorporating a new upstream version that
includes this fix, and there's a merge conflict in the testoutput
files.
